IE6 Image Toolbar
Description


When the IE6 user visits a web site and mouses over an image that meets particular requirements (
see Microsoft article), the My Pictures hovering toolbar will appear after one half second, and will disappear immediately after the user moves the cursor off the image. 

The hovering toolbar has three to four buttons depending upon the browser and operating system:
Disable It On Your Images


To prevent the IE6 Image Toolbar from popping up when a viewer puts the mouse cursor on top of images on your web page:

1. Insert this code on your page using the
HTML Object Tool:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="imagetoolbar" CONTENT="no">


2. Set the HTML Object Layer number and the Horizontal/Vertical
Positions to:
Browser Settings


To disable the Image Toolbar in the IE6 web browser:

1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools Menu.
2. On the Advanced tab, click to clear (disable) or click to select (enable) the Enable Image Toolbar (requires restart) check box.

You can also right click the Image Toolbar itself to open a context menu and disable it from that menu.
