Click the Text Box button on the Beginner Toolbar. |
Use your mouse to draw a Text Box on the page. Hold down the left mouse button while
dragging the mouse on the page. Let go of the button. The Text Box looks like
this: |
Next, choose the font type, size and color |
and begin typing your text. |
Resize the Text Box Horizontally by dragging its sides or corners (note: the Text Box will automatically resize Vertically when typing): |
Active Text Box has cursor inside it. |
The Text Box is still active. (cursor inside it) An active Text Box cannot
be moved around the page. To move the Text Box exactly where you want it
on the page you must de-activate it by clicking the left mouse button ONE time on any blank area of the page. (not on another object) Then click ONE time on the Text Box. It will look like this: |
The Text Box is active for dragging when the corners and sides have points. Put the cursor anywhere inside the Text Box, hold down the left mouse button and drag the Text Box anywhere on the page. Put your cursor in the Text Box and press the left mouse button twice to reactivate the Text Box for typing. To add another Text Box to the page, repeat the above steps. |
