Use your mouse to draw a Colored Box on the page. Hold down the left mouse button
while dragging the mouse on the page. Let go of the button. The Colored Box looks
like this: |

At any time, put your mouse inside a Colored Box and move it exactly where you want
it on the page. You can place a Colored Box on top of another Colored Box: |
You can place a Text Box on top of a Colored Box: |

Putting objects on top of other objects is called Layering. |
Click the Box or Line button on the Beginner Toolbar. |
Use your mouse to size the Colored Box by it's edges to: change the width change the height make a line |


An inactive Colored Box has no dots around the edges. An active Colored Box has dots around the edges. To make a Colored Box active, click on it one time. When it
is active you can change the color of it by clicking this button on the Beginner
Toolbar: |
