Compatability Web pages made with Cool Page will display properly in ALL properly configured web browsers, including AOL browsers. The HTML code made by the Cool Page program is 100% standard. When Publishing or Exporting, Cool Page will generate two HTML files. Each HTML page made contains a unique javascript that detects the viewer's browser and causes the proper page to be loaded. One of these HTML files will open in Netscape 4.x browsers and the other HTML file will open in all other browsers: |
HTML Standards And Web Browsers HTML standards are regulated by the World Wide Web Consortium. (W3C) At this time, NO web browser complies 100% with these proposed standards. For this reason, web developers have had to design their web sites for a particular brand of web browser, reluctantly eliminating a percentage of possible viewers, or they have had to design separate web sites for each browser audience. (double or triple work) Cool Page AUTOMATICALLY solves this design problem by generating HTML code that complies with W3C Standards and by creating web pages that will work in all browsers. |
