CPHGuidesFrame Sets :  Force Load in Frame Set
Force Load in Frame Set
Overview

Cool Page has a feature that enables any page to  "always load' into a specified frame of a frame set.

Some search engines will spider the pages of your frame set website and it will then list the individual pages of your site.  When someone clicks that link, the individual page will open in the viewer's web browser by itself and the viewer will not see your frame set as you intended.

Forcing the page to always load in your frame set ensures that your pages are always seen as you intended.

How To Force a Page to Load in a Frame Set

Open your frame set in Cool Page, then open the
Page Properties of each frame and click the General Tab.  The bottom section of Page Properties contains the Force Load in Frame Set settings:
Type the name of your frame set without the extension .html.

Type the frame (row and col) that the page will always load into.

Do this for all of the pages that you wish to be force loaded in your frame set.

Example

CoolPageHelp is a frame set with four frames.  The name of the page in this frame (the page you are reading now) is force_load.html.  The address of this page is http://www.coolpagehelp.com/force_load.html.
