How to Group Objects 1. Select an object by clicking it one time. 2. While holding down the "Shift" key on the keyboard, select additional objects. 3. Go to the Edit Menu at the top of the Cool Page program and from the dropdown list choose "Group". (Also used to ungroup objects.) |
How to Ungroup Objects 1. Select any one object of a grouped set of objects. 2. Go to the Edit Menu at the top of the Cool Page program and from the dropdown list remove the checkmark next to "Group" by clicking it. |

What is Grouping? Grouping is the ability to select more than one object at a time and "lock" them together as a group. These objects can then be moved anywhere on the page and they will retain their positions relative to one another. The group can be copied and pasted into a different webpage. Grouping will speed up the creation of additional pages. |
2. The position of a Group of objects can be changed by dragging the entire Group
on the page. To change the position of a single object within the Group,
right click the object to open it's Object Properties window. Type in the
desired horizontal and vertical positions for the object. |
