Object Properties
Overview

The properties of Images, Text Boxes, Colored Lines/Boxes and HTML Objects on a page can be edited or adjusted by using it's Object Properties window.

Open this window by either right clicking the object, double-clicking the object, by the Edit Menu (select the object, click Edit and then click Object...) or by the Edit Button on the
Object Toolbar.

Other objects, such as the
Drag+Drop Plug-Ins, have their own unique Object Properties windows.  Open these windows in the same manner given above.

Adjustable Properties
(all Text Boxes, Colored Boxes, Images and HTML Objects)

General Tab - Click the General Tab on the Object Properties window of any Image, Text Box, Colored Box/Line or HTML Object.
Name - Give the object a unique name.  This is not necessary to do, but if the object will be used in an Event, configuring the Event will be easier.

Position - Change the horizontal or vertical positions of the object or change the Layer position of the object.

Note: Objects can be positioned on the page by dragging them with the mouse and with the Layer Button on the
Objects/Beginner Toolbar

Size - Change the size of the object, width and height dimensions.
Box or Line Object Properties

Box or Line Tab - Change the color of the box or line.
Image Object Properties

Image Tab - Change the image being used.  Locate other image by clicking the Browse... Button.

Set Alternate Text used for the image.  This text will be displayed in place of the image if a viewer has "display images" turned off in the web browser.  Cool Page also displays this text in a message box and in the status bar of the browser when a viewer put the cursor on top of the image.  (put cursor on top of image below)
This is COOL!
The properties for the Events Tab are explained on this page.
