Web Page Video |
Display Video On The Web Page A video file can be embedded and displayed directly in the web page itself using the required HTML code. Note: Video files can be quite large and if embedded will slow down the loading of the page in the browser, therefore the recommended method is to link to the video files for viewers to download. To see embedded video on a web page requires that the viewer has the needed multimedia browser plug-in. Instructions: 1. Use the free Video Code Maker Tool to generate the HTML code for embedded video. 2. Insert the code into your page using the HTML Object Tool. |
Link To Video Files This is the recommended method of providing video content at your website. It would be wise to also provide links to the particular multimedia plug-ins in case your viewers need them to see your video files. See Linking To Download Guide. |
Troubleshoot Web Page Video Important: The displayiing of video in a web page or video downloads is not controlled by Cool Page. DO NOT send questions about your videos, video players or the use of this tool to Cool Page Customer Support. If you embedded video on your page or you linked to a video file download, and the video does not play or the download does not work, you should: 1. Read the Linking Guides 2. See Publish Troubleshooter 3. Get the required multimedia plug-in for the video format. 4. Contact your Host. 5. Have computer system checked out by a technician. |
