Important Instructions

Video files can be quite large and will slow down page loading. Do not use this tool for videos greater than 500 KiloBytes in size unless you are making a webpage specifically for broadband users. (DSL, Cable or Satellite users).

Do not use this code on a webpage with a lot of other content on it. Instead, make several pages dedicated to your video presentations.

Insert the code onto your page using the Cool Page HTML Object Tool. Use the HTML Object Browse Button to locate your video file or else it will not get uploaded during Publish.

Click the General Tab of the HTML Object Properties window and set the HTML Object width and height to at least 60 pixels wider and higher than the dimensions you enter in the tool below. See the HTML Object Guide to learn the proper use of HTML Objects.

Video files get played in a viewer's default multemedia program that is "plugged-in" to the web browser. Any issue encountered in viewing your video has to do with the web browser and the multemedia program ONLY, NOT Cool Page. If you experience a problem see the Multimedia Guide.

As a courtesy to your viewers is put some text on your page that says something like "Please wait while video loads..."
